IT HAS TO BE SHELL
It’s funny how an account can follow you around. I spent a couple of years at Iris working on Shell POS, comms and internal comms. And then a couple of years later I picked it up again at Proximity London. Never the most adventurous of clients but they did appreciate the toolkits and comms programmes I developed.
The Lego promotion was always a wildly anticipated event at Shell petrol stations not surprising really as it pulled like a train. Shell used their partnership with Ferrari to emphasise the quality of their fuels (as it’s the fuel that Ferrari and their F1 team recommend). I did all the POS and internal comms.
I did the comms for Shell for about two years. It could be dry stuff but occasionally I got through some ‘fun’ or more interesting stuff. But hey it’s Shell - it wasn’t that often TBH.
